COURSE DESCRIPTION   

This is an instructor level course where we will cover the issues specific to a handgun mounted red dot sight. Everything from mounting and maintenance, to sight picture, presentation and manipulation.

The are many pros to utilizing a handgun mounted red dot, but there are also many cons. Like:

What do I do if my Lense get covered by fog or mud?

What happens if my battery dies.

Will my dot wash out if I use my weapon light?

Why am I struggling to find the dot?

All of these issues can be mitigated with proper training. But sending officers out with out a red dot transition course is setting them up for failure.

If your agency has their own instructors and allows officers to utilize handgun mounted red dot sights, then this class is a must.

Must already be a certified firearms instructor.

Cost is $425 (2 day course with a low light portion)
